DLL Integration with E-automate

Setting Up the IntegrationSetting Up the Integration
To begin this integration process, do the following:
Verify you are using a current version of e-automate.
Note: ECI recommends using a supported version of e-automate, currently 17.1 or later.
You will need to have an ESN Dealer Account authorized for DLL. For the ESN/PIP setup, do the following:

If you already have an existing ESN Dealer Account, submit a ticket to e-automate Customer Care (eaCustomerCare@ecisolutions.com) with the following information:
Provide your dealer name.
Provide your contact information.
Request that your ESN Dealer Account be authorized for DLL.
Request your ESN Dealer Account ID if you do not already have that information.
Indicate what build of the ESN Client you are running and request an updated client installer with your ticket if Customer Care determines that your ESN Client build needs to be updated.
If you do not already have an existing ESN Dealer Account but do have ESN or PIP installed, submit a ticket to e-automate Customer Care (eaCustomerCare@ecisolutions.com) with the following information:
Provide your dealer name.
Provide your contact information.
Request the latest ESN Client Installer.
Request that your ESN Dealer Account be authorized for DLL.
Request your ESN Dealer Account ID if you do not already have that information.
During the ESN setup process, you define applicable permissions in e-automate for your ESN user. Verify your ESN user has the permissions listed in the Equipment Solutions Network (ESN) topic’s “Setting Up ESN Permission in E-automate” section’s table for using the leasing (lessor) APIs.

To identify customer contracts using a billing group, do the following:
Set up a billing group in e-automate to group only the customer contracts you want to include in this integration with DLL. For more information, see the Creating Contract Billing Groups topic.
In each applicable e-automate contract, on the Billing/Contact tab of the Contract record, in the Billing group field, use the drop-down menu to select the billing group you set up for DLL in the previous step.
To identify customer contracts using the lessor's customer number, do the following:
Set up a customer record in e-automate for DLL. For more information, see the Creating Customers topic.
In each applicable e-automate contract, on the Billing/Contact tab of the Contract record, in the Bill to field, use the drop-down menu to select the customer record you set up for DLL in the previous step.
In each applicable e-automate contract, on the Billing/Contact tab of the Contract record, in the Billing group field, use the drop-down menu to select the billing group you set up for DLL in the previous step.
Contact DLL (DLL, 1111 Old Eagle School Road, Wayne, PA 19087, www.dllgroup.com) to obtain and complete a Configuration Questionnaire to provide the information required to set up the integration.
Note: The questionnaire will identify the primary contact person who will work with the e-automate to finalize the integration.
When the integration is complete, DLL will contact you to schedule your start date.

To take advantage of the system integration, you must be on one of the latest versions of e- automate. Your e-automate account representative will assist you in ensuring you are ready.
How does the integration solution work?How does the integration solution work?
Meter reads in your system are automatically transferred to DLL and billed to the customer. DLL’s weekly funding to you will be applied electronically to your invoices. We will also provide you with customized reporting which will greatly reduce your need for manual processing.
Can DLL see the invoices that a dealer bills to their customer?Can DLL see the invoices that a dealer bills to their customer?
No, you will only provide DLL with access to the invoices that you bill to DLL as a customer in your system. These are the invoices that DLL bills to the customers for meters and/or service on your behalf.

The following features will be integrated:
Meter Entry: Automatic transfer of meter reads from your system to DLL’s system to be billed to the customer.
Make Payments: Pass-through payments will be automatically posted to your invoices.
Vendor Funding Reports: Reports detailing DLL’s payments to you will display your Invoice numbers.

You can still have service payments applied automatically if DLL bills them on your behalf.

Customized summary and detail reporting will be emailed to you to assist in managing the new process.

The only process change is that your manual processes to submit meter reads and apply payments will be greatly reduced.

To stop the process, simply notify DLL and specify which services you wish to stop and the desired effective date. That service will be terminated, and you will automatically return to the prior process.
