Welcome to ECI's e-automate®, your total business management software solution for field service-oriented dealers. This feature-packed version of e-automate combines exciting new features with the established functionality e-automate users have come to rely on to perform daily business operations.

This help system is organized primarily by product.  The Contents tab lists the Introduction book first, then the e-automate book, then a book on each additional product listed in alphabetical order, and then an Integrated Products book. In the following table, the Product Name column lists each additional product's name and links to the product's overview help topic. The Link Opens Help in... column lists Current Window if the link opens the product's help location within the current help system or New Tab if the link opens the product's separate help system.

Within e-automate, the help is arranged departmentally, referencing familiar areas of business performed in most companies (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.). Within most areas, Administrative and Functional books group step-by-step procedures that can be followed interactively with the e-automate system by moving between the Help and e-automate Task windows.

Administrative topics apply to activities that are usually performed once and customize the system to meet your business objectives; they provide the groundwork for day-to-day processing related to the topic. Updates to administrative topics may be required when changes to your business policies occur.

Functional topics apply to activities that describe processing guidelines for business tasks that occur routinely.
