If you use the ScanIt app on a mobile device to collect data, the system generates a CSV file containing the collected data that you can send via e-mail to one or more recipients. An e-mail recipient can then store the file in any location from which the recipient can select and upload the file via the ScanIt web site. To transfer data collected via an AML scanner to your system, do the following:

Connect the AML scanner to the computer where you have the DC Console installed.

From within the DC Console, click the [SYNC] button at the top of the screen. The DC Console will find the ScanIt files located on your AML scanner.

To transfer one or more files, do the following:

To transfer a single file, do the following:

Select the file from the Data File region on the left.

Click the single blue arrow to transfer the file to the Data File region on the right.

To transfer all files, click the double-blue between the two Data File regions.

Verify the Default Save Path is the location where you want to copy the files from the scanner to your system.  If the path is not correct, click the [Browse...] button and select the correct path.

To delete from the scanner any files you are copying to your system during this process, check the Delete copied files from device checkbox; otherwise, leave this box unchecked.

To prevent the DC Console from displaying a prompt to warn you if a file you are attempting to copy from the scanner has the same name as a file that already exists on your system, check the Do not ask to overwrite data files checkbox; otherwise, to receive these prompts, leave this box unchecked.

To override the predefined path with default save path information, check the Override the predefined path with default save path checkbox; otherwise, leave this box unchecked.

To transfer the selected file(s) using the specified settings, click the Fetch icon on the lower right of the DC Console.  These files are now on your system and ready for you to process via the ScanIt web site.
