Creating Job Titles

Jobs are titles associated with contacts and companies in e-automate. Job titles identify the role a contact plays in a customer company. You cannot associate a contact with a company without a job title.

Getting to the TransactionGetting to the Transaction

From the Tools menu, select List and codes to open the List and Codes window.

In the Select a list or code type field, use the drop-down menu to select Job Titles.

Click [New] to open the New Job Title window.

Basic InformationBasic Information

Complete the following fields as appropriate:

Job title: Code describing the job role that a contact can play in a customer company.

Description: Brief description of the job title.

Completing the TransactionCompleting the Transaction

Click [OK] to save the job title.
