Creating Contract Billing Groups

You use a contract billing group to group contracts with other contracts in order to make them easier to sort and distinguish. For example, you could group all the contracts belonging to the same region or state in a billing group. You also use contract billing groups as a tool to group contracts when collecting information using e-agent for upload to leasing companies.

Getting to the TransactionGetting to the Transaction

On the Tools menu, select Lists and codes to open the Lists and Codes window.

In the Select a list or code type field, use the drop-down menu to select Contract bill groups.

Click [New] to open the New Contract Bill Group window.

Basic InformationBasic Information

In the Bill group field, enter the name of contract bill group being added.

In the Description field, enter a brief description of the contract bill group.

Completing the TransactionCompleting the Transaction

Click [OK] to save the contract bill group.
