Creating Custom Property Configurations
After you have determined your custom property attributes, enabled Custom Properties, and created the attributes in e-automate, you can organize your attributes in a Custom Property Tracking Configuration for assignment to an e-automate entity.
A Custom Property Tracking Configuration links a group of attributes together so the attributes can be assigned to an e-automate entity as a group. When attributes are linked together in a Custom Property Tracking Configuration, you can then assign the configuration to:
Contracts
Customers
Employees
Equipment
GL Accounts
Inventory Requests
Items
Makes
Models
Purchase orders
RMAs (Returned Material Authorizations)
RTV (Returned to Vendor)
Sales orders
Vendors
Warehouses
When you have made these assignments, you can then populate the attribute values on the respective entity.
