Configuring Region and Language Settings for VAT Functionality
To use the VAT functionality in e-automate, you need to adjust your e-automate language setting and your PC's regional and language settings. Your e-automate language setting determines the terminology e-automate uses in the software interface (e.g., displaying VAT authorities instead of Tax authorities in Lists and Codes) and—in some cases—the fields displayed on a particular window (e.g., showing/hiding the VAT group field on the Miscellaneous tab of the Vendor window). Your PC's Windows Region and Language settings determine the currency format and foreign language support, respectively, in which the system prints the VAT reports.
