Creating and Printing a Transfer Order Picking List
A picking list is a form containing the information needed to locate and select the in-stock items on a transfer order. A picking list contains the following information:
Transfer order number(s)
Item number for each item on the order(s)
Quantity and unit of measure of each item on the order(s)
Item location (warehouse and bin)
Quantity available at each location
Only list items that are in-stock show on a picking list. The items on the picking list are grouped by bin, and the bins are sorted by the picking order, which is defined when the bins are created in e-automate. This hierarchy enables even new employees who are unfamiliar with your warehouse to pick orders quickly and efficiently.
