Configuring Automatic Email
You can have the system automatically send an email to the service technician and main service call email contact when a service call is created in e-info, RemoteTech, or Remote Service Manager. When a service call is created, the system sends the email to the technician assigned to the call as well as to the email identified in the Service call notification email field of the configuration settings.
The email is sent from e-info only if you are using e-info 15.2 and higher.
For the system to automatically send emails, you must have the respective checkbox checked and text message format configured in the text message options in e-automate. In e-automate go to Tools > Options > Service Calls > Dispatch Console and click the [Text message] button at the bottom of the window.
If you do not specify settings, the system will use the default text message settings when sending the emails.
