Clocking In and Out
Employees use the Time Card feature to track their hours worked, the activity on which they spent their time, and—for field technician—the mileage associated with the activity. This functionality allows employees to perform normal clocking on and off activities, and also allows users with the appropriate security rights to modify those entries. Occasionally employees forget to clock in or other problems occur with clocking in or out. You can add time card entries to correct these problems.

Getting to the TransactionGetting to the Transaction
On the People menu, select Time Card to open the Time Card window.
Basic InformationBasic Information
In
the Employee name field, use
the lookup icon to select the employee name.
Note: The Department
field is automatically populated. You can change it if necessary.
In the Activity code field, use the lookup icon to select an activity to associate with this employee.
To clock in, click [Clock in]. The amount of time that has passed since the employee most recently clocked in as well as the total hours are displayed by e-automate.
To clock out, click [Clock out].
To view all of this employee's time card entries that have been exported, check Show exported.

Click [Close] to close the Time Card window.
