Changing Equipment Statuses

You can manually change the status of a piece of equipment that is part of Equipment History Tracking from the Equipment list. This feature is only available when Equipment History Tracking is enabled and you have assigned a tracking configuration to the equipment profile’s linked inventory item.

Getting to the TransactionGetting to the Transaction

From the e-automate toolbar, click [Equipment] to open the Equipment window.

Basic InformationBasic Information

Select the equipment for which you want to change the status.

Click [Status] on the Equipment toolbar to open the Manual Change window.

In the Change status to field, use the drop-down menu to select a new status.

Completing the TransactionCompleting the Transaction

Click [OK] to update the equipment status and record an entry on the equipment’s History tab.
